The Wagner Society of Washington DC is pleased to announce that tickets are already available for the 2025 Bayreuth Festival.
We are delighted to have available packages of tickets for six performances from Friday, August 15, 2025, through Wednesday, August 20, 2025, including performances of six operas:
The Jay Scheib Parsifal, with Pablo Heras-Casado conducting, and featuring Andreas Schager, Ekatarina Gubanova, Michael Volle, Georg Zeppenfeld and Jordan Shanahan; Augmented Reality experience included!
The highly anticipated Mattias Davids production of Die Meistersinger, conducted by Daniele Gatti, featuring Georg Zeppenfeld as Hans Sachs, Michael Spyres as Wather von Stolzing, and Christina Nilsson as Eva
The complete Valentin Schwarz Ring cycle, conducted by Simone Young, and featuring Tomasz Konieczny’s acclaimed Wotan, Catherine Foster's steely Brünnhilde, Michael Spyres, Klaus Florian Vogt, Christa Mayer and Olafur Sigurdarson, among others.

The festival is presenting two instead of its typical three Ring cycles, so we are especially pleased to be able to offer these.

Uncomfortable about travel to an unfamiliar destination?
o We will again be seeking to have all WSWDC members seated together with ample opportunities to connect and interact if they wish.
o A pre-travel briefing will be held to allow all WSWDC attendees to meet each other and provide tips on travel arrangements prior to the festival.
If you would like to be considered for tickets, please register your interest as soon as possible by completing the form here. This is registration is not binding upon you. You will not be asked for a firm commitment until specific tickets can be offered to you. However, the date of your registration may impact our ability to fulfill your wishes.
Orders will be filled in the order of registration, and prioritized based on years of membership in the Wagner Society of Washington DC, and level of support.

The Fine Print:
Premium seating: WSWDC members will be seated in A1-premium orchestra seating, except for the performance of Parsifal, when seating is farther back in the orchestra, and includes the Augmented Reality experience for this production. A pre-travel briefing will be held to allow members to meet each other and to provide tips on making travel arrangements prior to the festival.
Pricing: Based on the currency exchange rate at the time of this notice, the cost of the six-opera package is $2,718(US). This pricing includes a 15% surcharge as has been charged in prior years, and which does not cover the expenses undertaken by the WSWDC to make these tickets available to our members.
Membership in the Wagner Society of Washington DC is required to secure tickets through this offer. If you are not already a member, we urge you to join now. Members at the Patron Level and above will be given preference in ticket assignments .
The offer is for a six-ticket package. Single opera requests cannot be accepted at this time. The bundle was designed specifically to allow you see the most operas in the shortest duration of stay.
Your registration is non-binding. Registration is non-binding; however, once you receive an offer of specific tickets, you will have one week to accept it and an additional week to send the full, non-refundable payment to the Wagner Society of Washington DC, P.O. Box 11842, Washington DC 20008.
